A passionate storyteller and educator
Meg Barnes is a devoted educator, storyteller, and lifelong lover of children’s literature. Her passion for writing grew from years spent teaching and working closely with young learners, where she discovered the powerful impact that stories can have on a child’s imagination and understanding of the world.
Throughout her teaching journey, Meg found great joy in sharing stories that spark curiosity, build character, and inspire meaningful conversations about faith and kindness. Her experiences with students at Cherokee Elementary School and within her church community helped shape her vision for creating stories that children can both enjoy and learn from.
Meg believes that books have the power to open hearts, encourage imagination, and introduce young readers to important life lessons in ways that feel natural and engaging. Her writing reflects warmth, humor, and a deep appreciation for the innocence and wonder of childhood.
When she isn’t writing, Meg enjoys spending time with her family and grandchildren, reading, and continuing to nurture a love of storytelling in the next generation. Through her books, she hopes to create moments of joy, curiosity, and inspiration for children and families everywhere.
